Dr. Richard Ng's Journey in Lionism
Dr. Richard Ng started his journey in Lionism when he joined Lions Club of Perak Silver State as a Charter Member in 2005. He was novice at that time involved mostly on projects related to education being an academician. He then led the club to other projects such as contributing intraoccular lens to orang Asli from Gerik. He was also actively involved in giving talk on education. He left the club briefly in 2013 due to work commitment and internal problems in the club. He rejoined the club again in 2016 playing active role such as Membership Chairperson and Marketing Chairperson before being elected as President for 4 terms from 2020 to 2024. He was appointed the Zone 14 Chairperson for LY 2024 - 2025 serving under District Governor Lion Don Hoe with the theme "Build Your Legacy".
